I for one am just fallen in love - in my new header graphic.
Oh yes, references to other useful Wordpress plugins are always welcome.

With same thoughts on the need for uniform Teaching of values in our pluralistic society and also to the risk of particularization of the Berlin school landscape Julia Franck writes in the mirror :
Whether changes in society and the capacity for dialogue of young people in our society to add some leaves by the religious communities under the state compulsory education their children separately taught in faith and values must be asked. Here, the competition between state and religion is neither natural nor necessary. Particularly in a globalized and pluralistic society each school should be something German about different religions, their history, world conception and practice . Learn

Dental Implants In Dehli Wha Is The Cost
Pro Reli? Or would you prefer Pro yourself think?
in Berlin is currently running a campaign "Pro religion". You have to aim that at school again, on both religion and ethics is offered in parallel as a school subject and the students decide for themselves what they choose. Brief background on why there is no religious instruction in Berlin - in contrast to all other states. In
Basic Law, Article 141 establishes a special status for Berlin and Bremen:
"Article 7 paragraph 3 sentence 1 shall not apply in a country where on 1 January 1949 was a different regulation in their country."
Basic Law Article 7, Section 3, p. 1 states: "Religious instruction in public schools, except in secular schools ordinary subject."
For Berlin, there is therefore no legal obligation to offer religion. It was voluntarily offered to 2006 and then replaced by the joint ethics class.
Students should decide it was time to themselves. Sounds good, eh? In concerns Pro Reli it states "Therefore, which is targeted at the ethical and moral education of young people by teaching their beliefs to differentiate." And this is where I ask myself: How severe and how aware of and reflect are the basic beliefs of a 11 - to 12-year-old if he / she at the beginning of the 7th Class between ethics and religion chooses? Is it really the core beliefs of students or is it more of the family / the environment in the lives of students?
The concluding statement of purpose is: "Whether Protestant or Catholic Christians, Muslims, Jews, and convinced atheists, they all should and must be given the opportunity to learn the foundations of their own conviction know, and therefore the very foundation [!] to put their ethical and moral precepts. " (Emphasis added)
Sorry, but here are exposed to the initiative itself If you're interested, that place children and young people themselves determine their ideological foundations, must give students the opportunity to differentiate the various philosophies and religions as possible in a neutral environment to know in order to decide on this differentiated basis. This includes the beliefs of the private environment at all first identified as such and furthermore distant and consider in relation to the other views to be able to. Everything else is the influence of family / private life and just another form of paternalism.
And that's exactly the point. The initiative advertises the tutelage of the students by repeal the state (aka the Berlin Senate) to do. But what's instead? I will not deny that there are children who are in transition from the 6th the 7th Class already in their faith and tolerance are other people (aka views) to connect. But I maintain that this approach to people with other beliefs (including appearance, other skills, whatever) is strongly conditioned by an appropriate education. Not religion per se, or the knowledge of his own religion (like the way the initiative said in a television commercial) makes people more tolerant. There are pre-mediated and lived values and norms that influence their own actions.
This will (and must, according Basic Law) was much in religious education be lived and taught. But let's go one step further. In Germany there is not just the people Christian faith, but also Jewish, Islamic (at times to name the big ones) and also those who grow up completely without religion and life. The initiative covers all these directions - the need to keep the initiative once too good. But what is the consequence in school? For 2 hours a week, the classes are divided into 4 or more groups. There, everyone went their own thing and end all meet each other again in the schoolyard.
The step was the Berlin Senate in 2006, with a professional ethic in an all Schüer bring to the classroom with discussion guided by the teacher, was a progressive. There is still no one prevented from carrying out his religion. But everyone is encouraged in the joint development of intercultural competence.
When I look around movements like the new bourgeoisie and the call of the CDU / CSU to anchor the Christian faith in the constitution, or now just look at each religion, it is clear to me just one thing: The feeling is widespread that in our society and meaningful peacekeeping norms and values as a measure Sans Weiser lost in everyday life. Here, however, must begin a discussion, away the ethics and morality of the religious boundaries and for all people equally treated. We live in an environment of pluralism and on a foundation of democracy, equality and tolerance.
Zig various religious subjects to offer is just a sham treatment. Zig various religious subjects do not allow it convey to all students equally and in equal measure the same knowledge. This must happen but if we really take seriously our constitution and equal rights and free development of personality is the big goal.

What's Kind Of Weave Rihanna Wear ?
The deployment of security incidents creates its own
Last Sunday in the M10. At Frankfurter Tor, I got in and sat down. Right were two men from, I think securitas (the one that also always work for the S-Bahn), left on a stand a man in his mid forties. When I sat down (the road train doors were still open), in his mid forties, said to another man in the opposite Vierereck. He spoke loudly, cried not. He leaned forward a little, but made no move to the other man to somehow come too close. His gaze slid between Vierereck and security personnel to and fro. I did: Here comes something. Security guards finally the order to keep everything in check, which is not in three of the rest-here mentality.
And it came faster than I thought. The doors closed and the mid-forties - the eye contact with security guards holding - in the direction Vierereck said something like: Yes, now that the doors are closed, now they go ahead. The security man could be No. 1 not be told twice. "Please listen to, to annoy the other passengers." It went a little bit back and forth. It is the inevitable question came to the ticket. This did not show the mid-forties, he was sure that the ticket he would be taken. Then again, should a bit back and forth, and the call of his mid-forties but please get off at the next stop. In his mid-forties refused until (he had done nothing), then he would go voluntarily, he refused again. On Bersarinplatz arrived (he refuses to even), The two men took him from the safety under his arm and carried / moved / escorted him out. Actually already out there, in his mid-forties but then pulled the emergency brake. The tram driver was waiting now until the police (one bowl!) Is there. Outside, in his mid forties, a bit more loudly and clearly even abusive according to police news release .
I have no idea what happened before I joined. But I can well imagine that in his mid forties has one loose just a bit to himself and in the direction of another passenger. Maybe a bit of conspiracy theory. Maybe a little bit about Security staff employed.
Losplappernde people are there all long nose in a big city. As happens more often. At some point, get off and all is well. Basically it is a temporary community very well placed to withstand people allowed in the mentality of the average-are-not-call equivalent.
Both sides have rocked up against each other. Of de-escalation on the part of the security people had not noticed them. But on this side, they must be designed and applied (my opinion, no idea how the SNB sees it). I can well imagine, the two security guards would not have been that night in the tram, there was no police report " tram passenger was brutally . "I say, except Genervtsein were some passengers probably nothing happened.
